How do you get between home and work? All SNTMA Subsidy Programs are employer provided benefits that are designed for commuting between home and work.
Norcalgo.org has been active all month. The site is very user friendly. Upon registration, one can go back in their Trip Calendar 30 days. You must be registered under your employer, with your work email address. Norcalgo.org avoids acronyms and spells out employer names.
Redeeming Subsidies via Norcalgo.org and PayPal Complete your norcalgo.org Trip Calendar for the month. To redeem SNTMA subsidies, on the left side of your profile dashboard, select “Rewards” then “Featured” and scroll to the subsidy program that you participate in. You will need ten round trips or twenty one-way trips of the alternative commute mode that you use to redeem the subsidy, for the redeem button to appear in your dashboard.
The redeem buttons are only available during the window to request subsidies, which is the first two business days of the next month. For February, the window to redeem subsidies will be the first two business days of March, 12AM Monday 3/3 and Tuesday 3/4 11:59PM.
If all the subsidies have already been claimed, the button to redeem will say “Sorry, there is no more inventory left for this reward.” You must be registered with your work email address to participate in SNTMA programs and add your work email address to your PayPal account to receive PayPal payments from the SNTMA. PayPal payments are typically made mid-month, and you will receive a notification from PayPal once the payment has been made. PayPal accounts accommodate up to 8 email addresses. SNTMA subsidy participants have 30 days to retrieve subsidy payments. No exceptions. We post on our Facebook page once all subsidy payments have been sent. $25 Telework Subsidy There are eighty monthly $25 telework subsidies on a first come, first served basis. Enter ten round trip telework days (miles saved in both directions) in your norcalgo.org Trip Calendar.
Residential Car Charging Station Subsidy There are twenty Residential Charger Subsidies available this calendar year, maximum amount $250, available on a first come, first served basis. The charger must have been purchased within 90 days of redeeming the subsidy. Receipts and photo(s) of the installed charger must be submitted when redeeming. There is no Trip Calendar requirement to redeem this subsidy through norcalgo.org.
Low Emissions Vehicle Subsidy There are twenty $50 monthly Low Emissions Vehicle subsidies available on a first come, first served basis. Select “drive alone” then enter your LEV information. Enter ten round trip or twenty one-way commute to work days in your norcalgo.org Trip Calendar. Your vehicle must currently be on the California Clean Air Sticker list to participate. https://ww2.arb.ca.gov/eligible-carpool-sticker-list *Low Emissions Vehicle subsidy participants will still need to initially provide the SNTMA with their vehicle information at Stephanie@sntma.org. The norcalgo.org system only counts “greener trips” as trips made by carpool, vanpool, transit, biking, walking, or working from home. Those vehicle trips are not included in the “Your Activity” chart for greener trips on your “home” screen.
Carpool Subsidy There are fifteen $50 monthly Carpool subsidies available on a first come, first served basis. Enter ten round trip or twenty one-way Carpool to workdays in your norcalgo.org Trip Calendar. *Carpool groups must initially provide the SNTMA with their group’s work contact information at Stephanie@sntma.org
Bike Maintenance and Accessory Subsidy There are three $100 bike Maintenance and Accessory subsidies available every month. Each employee of an SNTMA member company is eligible for one Bike Maintenance & Accessory subsidy per calendar year. Enter ten round trip or twenty one-way bike commutes to work in your norcalgo.org Trip Calendar. 2025 Bucks for Bikes recipients are not eligible for a 2025 Bike Maintenance Subsidy.
Bucks for Bikes The SNTMA has limited funds for 15 Bucks for Bikes subsidies. We are offering up to $500 or 90% of the purchase cost of a new commuter bike, whichever is less to the TMA. Complete the application and return it with a bike shop estimate to Stephanie at Stephanie@sntma.org. Electric bike and scooter purchases are eligible. As a condition of funding, recipients must provide a photo of themselves with their new bikes, copies of receipts and will track bike commute usage in NorCal Go for one month. The application deadline is 3/28/2025. The Bucks for Bikes application is also on our Facebook page (south Natomas TMA) and on our website.
Walk Subsidy There are ten Walk subsidies available on a first come, first served basis remaining for the calendar year. The Walk subsidy is for walking trips between home and office. Each employee of an SNTMA member company is eligible for one Walk subsidy per calendar year. Enter ten round trip or twenty -way walk commute to workdays in your norcalgo.org Trip Calendar.
Transit Subsidy There are two $75 monthly Transit subsidies available on a first-come, first served basis. Enter ten roundtrip or twenty one-way transit commutes to work in your norcalgo.org Trip Calendar, after you redeem the subsidy, email a copy of your monthly ticket to Stephanie@sntma.org.
Amtrak Subsidy There are two Amtrak subsidies available monthly. The SNTMA Amtrak subsidy is for trips between home and your office in South Natomas. Enter ten round trip or twenty one-way Amtrak days in your norcalgo.org Trip Calendar, after you redeem the subsidy, email Stephanie@sntma.org a copy Amtrak multi-ride or monthly ticket.
Facebook Monthly Contest Take a photo of or from along your alternative commute (Low Emissions Vehicle, telework, transit, Amtrak, carpool, vanpool, walk, bike) and write a brief description then send it to Stephanie at Stephanie@sntma.org for a chance to win prizes. Each month there are three prize levels: (1) first place prize, $75 gift card (2) second place prizes, $50 gift card (3) third place prizes, $25 gift cards of the winners choosing for a total of 6 possible monthly prizes. Door Dash, iTunes and Amazon gift cards will be emailed to Facebook contest winners. Next January, there will be a grand prize drawing for the 2025 Monthly Facebook Contest first place winners. The grand prize is $250 and there are two $100 runners up. The grand prize and runners up winners will receive cash at their work email address via PayPal.

Weekly $25 Amazon Gift Card Drawing for Norcalgo.org Trip Calendar Whether or not you use an alternative commute mode, all employees of SNTMA member companies, who are registered in Norcalgo.org with their work email and keep a Trip Calendar, are automatically entered in our weekly $25 Amazon gift card drawing. There is one winner each week of the month. The gift cards are sent the following month and the recipient’s names are posted on our Facebook page.
