How do you get between home and work? All SNTMA Subsidy Programs are employer provided benefits that are designed for commuting between home and work. Currently, one cannot receive more than two monthly subsidies in the same month. Must be different alternative commute modes.

One and done in 2024 One subsidy per person per month, allows more program participants, effective January 1, 2024.

$25 Telework Subsidy There are seventy monthly $25 telework subsidies on a first come, first served basis. If you enter ten telework days (miles saved in both directions) in your sacregion511.org trip log, you will be able to hit the redeem button the first two business days of the following month. In 2024, there will be eighty monthly telework subsidies available.

Residential Car Charging Station Subsidy Our 2023 Residential Car Charging Station Subsidy funds were exhausted in June. In 2024, we will have forty $250 Residential Charger Subsidies, on a first come, first served basis. Charger must have been purchased within 90 days of redeeming the subsidy. Receipts and photo(s) of installed charger must be submitted when redeeming.

Low Emissions Vehicle Subsidy There are twenty $50 monthly Low Emissions Vehicle subsidies available on a first come, first served basis. If you enter ten round trip or twenty one-way “electric vehicle” commute to workdays in your sacregion511.org trip log, you will be able to click the “redeem” button the first two business days in of the following month. Your vehicle must currently be on the California Clean Air Sticker list to participate. http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/carpool/carpool.htm *Low Emissions Vehicle subsidy participants will still need to initially provide the SNTMA with their vehicle information at Stephanie@sntma.org.

Carpool Subsidy There are thirty $50 monthly Carpool subsidies available on a first come, first served basis. If you enter ten round trip or twenty one-way Carpool to workdays in your sacregion511.org trip log, you will be able to click the “redeem” button the first two business days of the following month. *Carpool groups must initially provide the SNTMA with their group’s work contact information at Stephanie@sntma.org

Bike Maintenance and Accessory Subsidy There are six $100 bike Maintenance and Accessory subsidies available every month. Each employee of an SNTMA member company is eligible for one Bike Maintenance & Accessory subsidy per calendar year you enter ten round trip or twenty one-way bike commutes to work in your sacregion511.org trip log, you will be able to hit the “redeem” button when it appears the first two business days of the following month. 2023 Bucks for Bikes recipients are not eligible for this subsidy.

Walk Subsidy There are ten Walk subsidies available on a first come, first served basis for the calendar year. The Walk subsidy is for walking trips between home and office. Each employee of an SNTMA member company is eligible for one Walk subsidy per calendar year. If you enter ten round trip or twenty -way walk commute to workdays in your sacregion511.org trip log, you will be able to hit the “redeem” button when it appears the first two business days of the following month.  

Transit Subsidy There are five $75 monthly Transit subsidies available on a first come, first served basis. If you enter ten roundtrip or twenty one-way transit commutes to work in your sacregion511.org trip log, you will be able to click the “redeem” button the first two business days of the following then email a copy of your monthly ticket to Stephanie@sntma.org.  

Amtrak Subsidy There are two Amtrak subsidies available monthly. The SNTMA Amtrak subsidy is for trips between home and your office in South Natomas. If you enter ten round trip or twenty one-way Amtrak days in your sacregion511.org trip log, you can click the “apply” button appears the first two business days of the following month then email Stephanie@sntma.org a copy Amtrak multi-ride or monthly ticket.

Facebook Monthly Contest Take a photo of or from along your alternative commute (Low Emissions Vehicle, telework, transit, Amtrak, carpool, vanpool, walk, bike) and write a brief description then send it to Stephanie at Stephanie@sntma.org for a chance to win prizes. Each month there are three prize levels: (1) first place prize, $50 gift card (2) second place prizes, $25 gift card (3) third place prizes, $10 gift cards of the winners choosing for a total of 6 possible monthly prizes. In January 2024, there will be a cash grand prize drawing for the 2023 Monthly Facebook Contest first place winners. The grand prize is $250 and there are two $100 runners up. Door Dash, iTunes and Amazon gift cards will be emailed to Facebook contest winners.

“Like” the SNTMA on Facebook “Like” the South Natomas TMA Facebook page for the first time before the close of business tomorrow, then email Stephanie@sntma.org to be entered in a $25 Amazon card drawing. You will not be able to win without sending Stephanie@sntma.org an email.

Redeeming Subsidies via Sacregion511.org and PayPal The “redeem” button is located below the “my rewards” in your https://sacregion511.org/#/ profile dashboard. You will need ten round trips or twenty one-way trips of the alternative commute mode that you use to redeem the subsidy, for the redeem button to appear in your dashboard. The redeem button is only available during the window to request subsidies which is the first two business days of the new month. One can go back in their Trip Log 5 weeks. The button to redeem July subsidies will be available from 12AM Friday 12/1 and Monday 12/4 until 11:59PM.

If all the subsidies have already been claimed, the button to redeem will say “inventory out of stock”. You must be registered with your work email address to participate in SNTMA programs and add your work email address to your PayPal account to receive PayPal payments from the SNTMA. PayPal payments are made mid-month and you will receive a notification from PayPal once the payment has been made. PayPal accounts accommodate up to 8 email addresses. SNTMA subsidy participants have 30 days to retrieve subsidy payments. No exceptions. Subsidy Participants Limited to Two Alternative Commute Subsidies per Month

SNTMA monthly subsidy participants are limited to two subsidies and must be different alternative commute modes. For example, one cannot receive a Carpool and LEV subsidy in the same month. Recreational, personal and work trips (from one work site to another) are not counted towards the required 10 round trips on 20 one way trips to earn subsidies.


30 Days to Retrieve PayPal Subsidy Payments

SNTMA subsidy participants have 30 days to retrieve PayPal subsidy payments. No exceptions.
