Carpool

Employees of SNTMA member companies who carpool 10 round trips or 20 one way trips per month and log their carpool trips in the Sacregion511.org Commute tracker  are eligible for a $50 per month carpool subsidy. The carpool must have a minimum of 2 people.

The SNTMA offers up to twenty-five carpool subsidies per month on a first come, first serve basis. In order to enroll in the SNTMA carpool program the carpool must:

  1. Provide the SNTMA the names, work email and employers’ name of each person in the carpool
  2. Carpool 10 round trips or 20 one way trips per month
  3. The first two business days of the following month one click the redeem button in their Sacregion511.org dashboard.

Transit

SNTMA member employees will be eligible to apply for a transit $75 Subsidy to offset the costs of purchasing a monthly pass on Sacramento Regional Transit or another local transit service provider as long as they meet the following requirements:

  • Not to be combined with any other transit subsidy offered by your employer
  • Must log in the Sacregion511.org Commute Tracker as using transit bus or light rail 10 round trips or 20 one way trips per month
  • Number of transit $75 subsidies awarded per month limited to five on a first come, first serve basis
  • Employees of SNTMA member companies can apply for the $75 subsidy each and every month of the year

Amtrak

The SNTMA offers two monthly subsidies of $50 each to member company employees for reimbursement of an Amtrak Capitol Corridor monthly pass or multi-ride ticket. This subsidy only applies to commuting to/ from home to your South Natomas office.

Participants must complete their Sacregion511.org Commute Tracker as using Amtrak 10 round trips or 20 one way trips per month. The first two business days of the following month they can upload a copy of their monthly pass or multi-ride ticket and click the redeem button in their Sacregion511.org dashboard.

Employees of SNTMA member companies can apply for the $50 subsidy each and every month of the year.

Bike Maintenance and Accessory Subsidy 

This program is designed to promote and support bicycle commuting. The SNTMA has limited funding to subsidize maintenance for commuter bicycles. There are six $100 bike maintenance and accessory subsidies available each month. This subsidy cannot be combined with other SNTMA bike subsidies. Complete your Sacregion511.org Commute Tracker in order to be eligible to apply. The first two business days of the following month one can click the redeem button in their Sacregion511.org dashboard.

Low Emission Vehicle Subsidy

There are twenty $50 Low Emissions Vehicle Subsidies available on a first come, first serve basis. To qualify your vehicle must currently be on the state of California Clean Air Vehicle Decal list of eligible low emissions vehicles and you must drive to work 10 round trips or 20 one way trips per month. In your sacregion511.org trip log, select "electric vehicle" for your alternative commute mode. The first two business days of the following month one can click the redeem button in their Sacregion511.org dashboard.

Residential Car Charging Stations

There are forty Residential Car Charging Station Subsidies up to $250 available on a first come, first serve basis until funding for the year is exhausted. In order to apply you will need to submit receipts and a photo of the installed charger. The charger must be purchased within 90 days to redeem the subsidy. The first two business days of the following month one can click the redeem button in their Sacregion511.org dashboard.

Walk Subsidy

There are twenty $100 walking subsidies available for the calendar year on a first come, first serve basis. Enter 10 round trips on 20 one way walk to/from work trips in your Sacregion511.org Commute Tracker to redeem the subsidy during the first two business days of the following month. The redeem button is located in your Sacregion511.org dashboard.

Telework Subsidy

There are eighty $25 telework subsidies on a first come, first serve basis. If you enter 10 telework days (miles saved in both directions) in your sacregion511.org trip log, you will be able to hit the redeem button the first two business days of the following month.
